Overview

Objective: Design a refined coffee table book as a welcome gift for the new CEO of The Coca-Cola Company, showcasing curated artwork and furniture from his office alongside iconic pieces throughout the headquarters—creating an immersive narrative connecting leadership, culture, and brand heritage.

Approach: I developed a flexible, system-based layout that adapts across sections while highlighting both large-scale artwork and archival details. The design emphasizes visual storytelling through scale, pacing, and composition to create a gallery-like experience. Careful balance of imagery and narrative ensures each spread feels curated, resulting in a cohesive format that elevates the artwork and reinforces the broader story of culture and brand heritage.

  • Format & Layout: Large-format editorial book. Flexible grid system to support full-bleed imagery + structured narrative spreads. Emphasis on negative space for a gallery-like feel.

Typography: Editorial system with clear hierarchy. Subtle shifts in scale/weight to separate storytelling from archival/label-style content.

Imagery & Composition: Artwork-led spreads. Mix of full-bleed imagery + focused detail moments. Cropping and sequencing used to guide visual flow.

Narrative Structure: Organized by space and theme (CEO office + headquarters). Alternating rhythm between visual immersion and contextual storytelling.

Material / Production: Print-ready files with proper bleeds, margins, and color management. Binding considerations for durability and seamless page flow, along with a custom die-cut cover to enhance tactility and object quality.
